He has an exceptional ability to translate complex concepts into clear, engaging learning experiences, making training both practical and inspiring. With 12 years’ experience leading large mental health and learning disability operations, followed by founding Care Ideals in 2014, David has developed a rare combination of deep sector knowledge and commercial insight. He specialises in leadership development, operational excellence, and embedding sustainable business practices into care delivery. His approachable style, wealth of real-world examples, and commitment to quality ensure that every course he delivers is relevant, impactful, and transformative.

Lorna has a BSc in Social Work and a strong background in business management. She has served as a Registered Manager for a multi-site care company and as Head of Care for three large domiciliary care offices, combining operational leadership with strategic oversight. She has deep expertise in compliance, regulations, and business development, along with years of hands-on experience supporting adults with physical disabilities, learning disabilities, mental health needs, and dementia. Her action-focused and personable style makes her a powerful driver of change and improvement in the sector.
